hi!

I'm Becca Robbins – it's nice to meet you!

I design interiors that are timeless, approachable, and effortlessly organic. With a master's degree in Interior Architecture and Design from the Academy of Art University, I bring both creative vision and technical expertise to transform spaces into meaningful reflections of those who live in them.

A fun fact about me: I believe a designer’s personal space reveals a lot about their approach to design. Some of my most cherished pieces include a reclaimed pinewood coffee table from my childhood home and a charcoal-on-parchment sketch I discovered while wandering the streets of Italy during my studies abroad. Both are artisanal, deeply sentimental, and tell a story—just like the spaces I create.

My Story

How it Began

I've been in love with the arts for as long as I can remember.

In elementary school, I dreamed of becoming a fashion designer, stylist, and photographer. But it wasn't until high school, while refurnishing and redecorating my bedroom, that I realized my true dream: to become an interior designer.

I spent months visiting local boutiques to find truly one-of-a-kind pieces: a vintage, handpainted dresser from one boutique and an antique chandelier that perfectly matched from another. I collected mirrors, books, and other decorative objects that reflected my longstanding infatuation with France. My bubble-gum, frilly pink room slowly transformed into a bespoke French country escape.

How It Grew

Not yet convinced I could turn my dream into a career, I decided to attend Vanderbilt University rather than art school. I pursued my dual interest in business and people by majoring in Human and Organizational Development. During college, I spent summers interning in marketing and fashion.

But the most exciting part of the year was surprisingly the start of the semester when I got to design my new dorm room. I continued to follow that feeling and began helping family and friends with their home remodels, including a condo in Nashville.

After graduating in 2020, I worked in HR & Communications for a national bank with more than 80 billion in assets under management. While my days were filled with launching new learning and development programs, planning events, and drafting bank-wide communications, my weekends were still filled with passion projects: bedroom redecorations, kitchen remodels, and even ground-up fireplace builds.

While my professional work was rewarding, it didn't excite me the same way as my interior design hobby. And so, I finally took the “leap of faith" and enrolled at the Academy of Art University (AAU). At AAU, I gained experience designing commercial properties, from hotels to coffee shops to offices. I learned how to draft construction documents, create and execute programming, and work with software like Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe suite.

How It's Going

Now having graduated with my Master's in Interior Architecture and Design, I'm working to transform even the most lackluster, unintentional spaces into oases that thoughtfully and accurately capture clients' individuality.

With a rich foundation in psychology, marketing & communications experience at small and large companies, and a Master’s degree, I bring a holistic perspective to my design career. I strive to blend the creativity and insight to capture clients’ visions with the technical skills to bring them to life.

When I'm not designing, I love taking dance classes, practicing my baking, and, until recently, planning my wedding! My husband and I are now enjoying our newlywed season after getting married in October.  We love spending our weekends visiting the farmer's market, sipping coffee at our neighborhood cafe, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and visiting with our family, especially our adorable nieces and nephew.

I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities. We should connect!
